CQ WW DX CW Contest 2017

As usual last years I will be particiating CQ WW DX CW Contest from the wonderful contest station SO4M. The station is built and maintained by Mirek SP4MPG. Last years I had many successful entries in single-band categories.

Last months Mirek SP4MPG made many improvements. The development of the station still is going on (in fact it must be going on all the time).The plan is to make the station ready for All Band operation, possibly in the ingle Operator 2 Radio (SO2R) mode.

The SO2R style operation is planned for the 2018. This time, in the CQ WW DX CW we are going to try Multi-Single operation. It was decided a month ago. So the team of: SP4MPG, SP5OXJ, SP5UAF, SQ6MS and F5SDD will meet on Thursday evening. We will have all Friday for final preparations, computers setup, planning etc. It will be the first multi-band entry after many years, after many changes etc. So in fact it will be the first test of a new station setup. However we are very excited about the coming weekend. We will be contesting and spending time in a group of experienced operators and friends. We will deal with our beloved hobby. Can we expect any more?

I can only say that I am very grateful to my family for letting me to spend so much time for HAM Radio.
